The Sunbird Conservatives kicked off their lecture series in the fall of 2008.  Victor Davis Hanson spoke about current events and the 2008 election season to a crowd of 700 people at the Fresno Convention Center.  Plans are now underway to make the lecture series a permanent Program of the Association. 

We hope to make the lecture series a valley tradition for many years to come.  We are currently planning many aspects of the program including an Alumni Association VIP Dinner, book signing, radio interviews, etc.  It will be a very educational and rewarding experience for students and community members alike.  However, to make it a permanent fixture much financial planning must be done.
